Live Guest Illustrations at Weddings and Events
Rebecca’s live illustrations are unique and interactive. They add a touch of elegance and creativity to weddings and events. These personalised watercolour keepsakes not only serve as cherished mementos but also provide an unforgettable experience.
Rebecca’s illustrations are perfect for weddings, elopements, hens parties, birthdays and special events. They can feature individuals, couples, friends, families, your wedding party and of course the newlyweds.
My Style
I use a thin black outline to capture finer details, before adding soft watercolour layers and shadows to capture everyones unique personality and creating timeless keepsake that reflects the joy of the celebration.
How It Works
I arrive before the guests to set up my table in the cocktail area.
As the guests arrive, I meet them and take a few photos for references for my illustrations.
I then begin illustrating some guests during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests can come over for a photo, and I continue illustrating throughout the cocktail hour. If the cocktail hour is around 3hours and I'm booked for that amount of time, I would normally stay there to finish off the last few illustrations as everyone moves to the reception. I normally only move to the reception area if I'm there for a longer period of time where I will be still illustrating into the late evening.
By the end of the night, I place the completed illustrations in a clear sleeve for guests to take home. Normally I place them beside the gift/card stand or pass them over the wedding planner, bridesmaid or MC.
Any unfinished illustrations are completed in my studio and posted back to the newly-weds, along with their newly-wed illustration and any additional requested illustrations.
